Our client is currently recruiting for an Associate Manager Supply Chain. This is a full time permanent, position offering an excellent salary and benefits package. All applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Supply Operations process and Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
  • Acts as a leader between functional areas to facilitate the advancement of batch disposition for all products in the portfolio.
  • Assesses batch disposition issues and cross-functionally coordinates solutions to meet key milestones of the batch disposition process.
  • Drive batch impacting events towards closure to facilitate timely disposition of all relevant internal and external batches.
  • Review current activities in batch disposition on a regular cadence for alignment across sites. Understand any mis-alignment, conduct any necessary gap analysis and drive relevant actions to remove gaps.
  • Understand and escalate supply risks and constraints across end to end program networks.
  • Support Compliance activities for Supply Chain.
  • Drive Continuous improvements initiatives and enhance Supply Operations process development by communicating performance standards, developing joint improvement initiatives, and actively soliciting formal feedback.
  • Create and publish metrics to evaluate overall plan/process effectiveness that drive positive results, get to root cause and support annual IOPS objectives.
  • Maintain awareness of current industry standards, trends and practices.
  • Provide leadership and work collaboratively with other functions within to prepare IOPS for the future and secure daily activities.
  • Assist with regular operational meetings, goal setting and mid-year/year-end reporting; represent as needed or perform other activities as required by the business.
  • Provide coaching to direct reports; including employees development plan; Foster a healthy work environment where employees feel valued and respected.

  • The position will require domestic and U.S. travel.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain Mgmt., or Science background) with 8+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Management in a GMP regulated pharmaceutical/biotech/med device industry.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience supervising and coaching staff required
  • Project Management qualification a plus.
  • Pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience a plus.
  • Masters’ degree a plus.
  • APICS or other related Supply Chain certifications a plus.
